Chart Lamp Replacement LED (BA9s)

The BA9s designation translates as a 9mm Bayonet socket with a single contact on the bottom and two directly opposed side tabs.

This is our new and improved 6-LED miniature BA9s bulb. It replaces the BA9S bulbs which are very commom in small courtesy lights and the ubiquitous Hella and Scandvik Chart Lamps found on many late model Beneteau, Hunter and Catalina sailboats. It uses 6 high-output SMD LED's that provides 360° light output that makes good use of the lamps reflector. This makes it suitable for lamps like the Hella Chart Light that use the bulb in a vertical orietation (with light directed out from the end of the bulb), or for other types that use the bulb in a side mount orientation.

Available in Cool White or Red. It is best to use red if your lamp has a red lens, as this will allow for full output as red lenses pass only red light.
